About  DLB

• Our founder Donna, is a youth arts producer, professionally qualified youth worker and project manager. She has acquired over 10 years experience of working  within the youth sector, this includes community, local authority  and theatre venues. Donna currently sit's on the Tottenham board for LIFT theatre and consults for the Round House venue London. She specialises in working with young adults on the edge of care, care experienced young people, unaccompanied minors and asylum seeking young people leaving care.
• On the front line, Donna realised that  their was a need for a more creative and collaborative approach to meeting the needs of vulnerable Young People in our communities. Using Drama  as a vehicle to bring about social change, Donna set about developing innovative, bespoke and long term interventions with Young People in different forums pan London.
• Don’t Look Back, applies theatre in its broadest sense to animate stories gathered from people who might never have been asked about their lives before.  We work in a fair, transparent way providing a equal playing field for all the Young People we work with.
• We are closing the gap between groups of Young People who are not getting the opportunity to become cultural enriched, by focusing our work on communities that believe they have been locked out of opportunity in our society. At the heart of our work is development of self image, improving  independent living skills and producing leaders.
• By putting Young people at the centre of our work we are inspiriting change and bringing to life extraordinary moments of drama.
